Private Telehealth Recovery Care in Ohio and Washington
AmbireHealth provides personalized medication-assisted treatment and ongoing recovery care for adults seeking stability, continuity, and a trusted clinical relationship. Treatment may include buprenorphine, Suboxone, or Vivitrol when clinically appropriate, along with regular follow-up and relapse-prevention support.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Recovery Care may include buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone), extended-release naltrexone (Vivitrol), or other non-Schedule II medications when clinically appropriate. Treatment is individualized using your medical history, current medications, prescription-monitoring information, toxicology testing, response to therapy, and shared decision-making. Medication is one part of a broader plan designed to support stability and reduce the risk of recurrent use and overdose.
Personalized Recovery Care
Recovery is about more than medication or stopping substance use. AmbireHealth provides private, relationship-based care centered on your goals, overall health, and long-term stability. Visits may include evaluation of cravings and withdrawal symptoms, medication response, mental and physical health concerns, overdose-prevention planning, and coordination with counseling or community resources when helpful. AmbireHealth does not replace emergency, detoxification, inpatient, or comprehensive behavioral-health services.
Ongoing Follow-Up and Recovery Planning
Recovery is strengthened through preparation, consistency, and regular clinical follow-up. Visits focus on medication effectiveness and tolerability, cravings, triggers, changes in your health or other medications, and practical planning for higher-risk situations. Monitoring may include prescription-monitoring review and toxicology testing when clinically appropriate. When counseling, peer support, or a higher level of care would be helpful, AmbireHealth can recommend or coordinate with outside resources.
Telehealth Access in Ohio and Washington
AmbireHealth provides secure video appointments for adults who are physically located in Ohio or Washington at the time of their visit. Telehealth makes it possible to maintain continuity with the same clinician without routinely traveling to a clinic. Patients need a private location, reliable internet access, and a suitable phone, tablet, or computer. Some circumstances may require local testing, an in-person evaluation, emergency care, or referral to a higher level of care. Eligible patients in select Ohio communities may also receive in-home visits by prior arrangement.
FAQ
Who is Recovery Care designed for?
Recovery Care is designed for adults in Ohio or Washington who are seeking medication-assisted treatment or ongoing clinical support for opioid use disorder. This may include people beginning treatment, transferring from another provider, returning to care, or maintaining long-term stability. Eligibility is determined individually after a discovery call and clinical evaluation. Some people may need emergency, detoxification, inpatient, or other higher-level services before outpatient telehealth care is appropriate.
Does AmbireHealth prescribe Suboxone or Vivitrol?
AmbireHealth may prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone (commonly known as Suboxone) or naltrexone, including extended-release Vivitrol, when clinically appropriate. No particular medication is guaranteed. Treatment decisions are made after reviewing your history, current medications, prescription-monitoring information, toxicology results, treatment goals, and other clinical circumstances. AmbireHealth does not prescribe Schedule II opioids.
Does AmbireHealth offer care beyond Recovery Care?
Yes. AmbireHealth also offers Complex Medication Management for adults who need careful review, monitoring, or simplification of a complicated medication regimen, as well as Focused Health Visits for a single non-emergency concern. These are separate services with their own eligibility and pricing. AmbireHealth does not prescribe Schedule II opioids.
How are Recovery Care appointments conducted?
Most Recovery Care appointments are conducted through secure telehealth for patients who are physically located in Ohio or Washington at the time of the visit. Initial evaluations and follow-up appointments are scheduled in advance; AmbireHealth does not provide walk-in or emergency services. Eligible patients in select Ohio communities may also receive in-home visits by prior arrangement. Some circumstances may require local testing, an in-person evaluation, or referral to another level of care.
What happens if I experience a return to substance use?
A return to substance use is addressed clinically, not punitively. Contact AmbireHealth as soon as possible so we can reassess your immediate safety, overdose risk, medication response, cravings, and contributing circumstances. The care plan may include medication changes, more frequent follow-up, additional toxicology testing, overdose-prevention measures, outside support, or referral to a higher level of care. If there is an overdose, medical emergency, or immediate danger, call 911.
Does AmbireHealth accept insurance?
No. AmbireHealth is a private, cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Recovery Care is purchased as a prepaid 90-day care period after the discovery call, eligibility confirmation, and required enrollment steps are completed. Pricing is presented clearly before enrollment so patients understand the cost before making a payment.
What makes AmbireHealth different?
AmbireHealth is a small, veteran-owned practice built around privacy, continuity, and a direct clinical relationship. Rather than brief, transactional visits, Recovery Care includes individualized medication management, patient education, scheduled follow-up, and coordination with outside resources when appropriate. Patients work with the same experienced nurse practitioner over time. AmbireHealth does not guarantee a particular medication or replace emergency, inpatient, detoxification, or comprehensive behavioral-health services.
Not sure whether Recovery Care is the right fit? Request a complimentary discovery call to discuss your location, current treatment, goals, and the next steps in AmbireHealth’s enrollment process. The discovery call is for service-fit and enrollment screening; it is not a medical visit, and no medication is prescribed during the call.
